T-6G "Almost Perfect"

" "Almost Perfect," Race Number 98, is a T-6G that came off of North American Aviation’s assembly line in 1949. Initially assigned to the U.S. military, it served the Brazilian Air Force until the mid 1970s. Brought into the United States in 1993, it first raced the pylons at Reno in 2019 after a number of transfers of ownership. Emblazoned in livery commemorating U.S. Naval aviation, it finished 2nd in the Bronze race that year, clocking an average speed of 193.846 miles per hour."
