- 1 Play Guide (29 pages, cut to fit the jewel case/liner notes area,copyright 1996)
- 1 Install Guide (10 pages, included a walk-through of the first missionon the last page, copyright 1995)
- 1 Reference Manual (64 pages, by Melissa Mead and Lisa Smith, copyright1995)
- 1 12"x18" poster, depicting the 5 player planes and their stats
The Reference Manual is excellent, including the following information:
- Letters written to the main character's father, setting up the story
- Profiles of the 14 characters that figure into the story line
- A short history of flight in combat, leading up to WWI.A basic tactics section, as well as a more detailed flying primer("this is an immelmann", etc.)
- Profiles of several aces of WWI, as well as summaries of the majorbattles going on at the time (Verdun, etc.)
- Stats and commentary on the five planes you get to fly
- Descriptions and illustrations of the various US, British, and Frenchmedals you can receive
