A-10 Cuba Activision Parsoft Interactive A-10 USA Exhibit Combat year: 1996 org: Activision org: Parsoft Interactive A-10 Cuba by Eric "Hellcats" Parker is a fluid and exciting sim which ran well on modest PC's. This sim was one of that rare breed which begged to be flown! The handling from taxiing to landing is pure flight sim joy! The wealth of detail, smoothness and sense of speed added up to an addictive experience.
A-10 Cuba A-10 Video Training MiGMan: Combat Diary year: 1996 The A-10's ordnance can be clearly seen hanging off the hardpoints.
Your main aerial threats are MiG-29 Fulcrums and the Su-25 Sturmovik.
Luckily for me the A-10 is still able to fly with damaged wings and control surfaces.
It's Pucker factor 5 at low altitude - there are structures everywhere!
The sensation of altitude and speed at low level is up there with the best You'll also notice the effectiveness of the A-10 camouflage. Actually all the planes are hard to spot, especially when they get down low.

A-10 Cuba A-10 Avionics year: 1996 The Virtual Cockpit (VCP) integrated seamlessly with the static, instrument views, of which there were two - upper and lower panel.
Merely by moving the hat switch you were taken to VCP mode.
A-10 had a one of the nicest analogue cockpits seen up to 1996.
All the buttons worked and could be operated with the mouse. This feature certainly sped up the learning curve immensely.
There was a host of dials - and they all worked!
