AT-6 "Baby Boomer"

"The T-6H that would become “Baby Boomer," Race Number 89, began its operational service in the Italian Air Force. After being stored for years at the end of its service, it was brought to the United States in 1988. Refurbished as Baby Boomer, it raced at Reno for the first time in 1992 and immediately established itself as a serious contender, finishing the Gold Race in 3rd place with an average speed of 227.287 miles per hour. In subsequent years, Baby Boomer has proven a consistent competitor, challenging others in the Gold and Silver races. The aircraft has participated in every race since 2011."
