" "Athena," race number 1, first saw use as part of the Ukrainian Air Force. Brought to the United States in 2004, the jet subsequently underwent a number of modifications, including those for flight performance and speed. The jet, painted white and red, first raced in Reno in 2018, where it qualified for the Gold race and finished 6th with an average speed of 428.753 miles per hour. Athena raced in the Silver race and the Gold race in 2019, finishing first in Silver with an average speed of 436.522 miles per hour, and 5th in Gold, clocking 428.593 mph."
