MiGPit Mk.VII

In late December 2024 I booted up the MiGPit and the Sim Dashboard app self updated. I checked the change log and lo and behold it included new SimVars we could now display!

The developer has added all the fuel tanks available in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. This is a free upgrade and a gift to flight sim cockpit builders! | December 2024: Added my current fuel management page.

I needed an up to date list of what is in the ’pit to aid in troubleshooting. So here it is!

One year on and a look at the MiGPit Mk.VII, happily esconced in a TrakRacer TR160 chassis and re-engined with a HP OMEN 45L beast driving the sim.

These subpages are constantly evolving, but after 4 years of tweaking I am really happy with their current state.

Late 2024 saw the launch of MSFS 2024, making it an apt time to re-engine the MiGPit. With over 5,000 hours of reliable flight time from my HP OMEN 25L it was a no-brainer to stick with the HP moniker.

The audio components are located on the rear left console and the centre piece is this Gemini MM1 mixer.

The audio routing is still not where I want it to be, but it works for now and gives me bass and volume control as well as a push-button solution to changing from speakers to earphones.
